This carbon fiber pool cue shaft was a great replacement for the original wood shaft on my Viking cue, which had developed some minor wear and blemishes over time.
The 5/16-18 joint fit properly and matched my cue, although I did need to confirm the joint style since my cue has a quick-thread connection that only engages partway up the post. Once installed, it felt solid and played well. The carbon fiber construction gives it a clean, modern look and makes a nice upgrade or replacement option for a worn shaft without having to replace the entire cue.

Beautiful Cue Shaft. When ordering, be sure and check the fitting size to match it properly. It has a smooth satin finish that feels good and smooth when shooting. It also comes with an extra tip which is pretty nice for later on. Overall, it's a good value for adding to your cue collection.
I have been an avid pool player for over 30 years and have over ten cues mostly brand name cues. I have never shot with a carbon fiber shaft and thought it was all hype. However after attending several professional tournaments an seeing the vast majority of pro players using carbon fiber, I decided to give it a try. Quite frankly I was impressed with the shaft and the control I was able to get using it, my family are pool players and have used the cue shaft And have purchased carbon fiber shafts! This is an ultra lightweight shaft, weighing about 4 oz. It has a very high rigidity with its carbon fiber build. This transfers power more efficiently than any wooden cue I’ve used, and I’ve used quite a few. The craftsmanship on this is premium, it has a cool matte black look to it along with some small details. This has a 3/8-10 stainless steel joint and it provides a stable, firm connection with my base. This should hold up well over time, as carbon fiber typically ages well.
I got this with the smaller 11.8mm tip. It is a good size for precision shots. I think this is a fair value for a quality CF shaft with a SS joint.

This shaft ended up being much better than I had expected. I’ve played casually off and on for over 30 years now and a few things stand out about this. First, the ultra-smooth finish, it helps enable effortless glide through the bridge hand. As for the performance, it seems much easier to aim and get the outcome you’re hoping for. And better than others I’ve tried in the same price range. It’s a perfect fit on my 3/8-10 joint. If you upgrade from a wooden shaft, the difference is very dramatic. I noticed much more consistent long shots thanks to the low-deflection technology, a pro taper that felt perfect in hand, a super smooth finish, and a flawless, wobble-free fit.
This is a really nice cue shaft, especially for the price. It came in a box. This fit both of my less expensive cue butts with no problems and made them feel like much nicer sticks. I'm using it on my main playing cue now, and I really like how smooth it is. It slides through my bridge hand effortlessly, so I don't have to mess with baby powder like I do when using old bar cues. I like the grayish color, goes well with my19oz. stick. I rolled it a couple of times on a pool table and it's straight as an arrow.
Overall, I think it's a great upgrade and a good value, if you're looking to improve a basic cue without spending a fortune.
This is a great carbon fiber shaft. It is amazingly slick - sliding very easily in your bridge. The weight is perfect. It comes with a soft medium tip installed, which played well. It also comes with a second soft tip. These shafts are a bit expensive but that’s how carbon fiber shafts are. This is a nice stiff low deflection shaft. Overall, it is great shooting with this and is a great value for your pool game - one of the better carbon shafts I’ve tried. It fits perfectly on a Hubler butt.
I means its an incredible half of a pool cue. You cant beat the quality, appearance, durability of carbon fiber, and sleek appearance - but i just cant understand why half a pool cue is $150. I understand the material and weight are well tuned but I'm just note sure if its worth the money. I clearly dont know my stuff about billiards, but I grew up with legitimate pool players (there is even a pool stick or two that are heirlooms in my family that were played with during the prohibition in Hoboken). I digress, for this price i can beat the pants off someone using a full cue that comes with a case.
Not a fan of $150 for half of a pool cue considering you can get a full graphite stick and case for less than that. Not sure what they are trying to accomplish here, maybe these are beyond professional grade stick halves, but I cant give it 5 stars when there's nothing outstanding about them other than the price. They are still well made, incredible quality, and incredibly straight... but again $150 and you only get the cue portion. I dont like that.... hope the base of the stick you have matches with the threads on this.
